Lexington Physiotherapy was founded in 2011 by Director and Principle Physiotherapist Benjamin Black.

In the beginning

A brief history

Out of High School, Ben studied a Bachelor of Education in PDHPE and worked in Canberra for 7 years in a number of High Schools and at a Sports College (Erindale College) with athletes from the Talented Sports Program. Whilst he thoroughly enjoyed teaching, he felt a strong desire to return to study to learn more about how the human body works and how he may be able to help people individually achieve their goal to be pain free and perform at their full potential.

After graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Physiotherapy, Ben worked in a number of private practices and hospitals in Northwest Sydney before deciding to establish his own practice.

“With a passion to develop his own business and a reputation of delivering ethical treatment standards, Lexington Health was born. Creating a collaborative environment for all your health needs.”

Our primary aim at Lexington Health is to find why patients are in pain or cannot perform at their best. We strongly believe in education of the diagnosis and reasons for their symptoms as this helps to provide a shared responsibility in resolving their problems. Your experienced Physiotherapist can then create a specific treatment plan tailored just for you.

Whether it be physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, nutrition, or many of our other holistic health options, we guarantee that investing in your health is invaluable.

Carlo helped me get back on the badminton court after my shoulder dislocation. He is amazing at tailoring the rehab program to your individual needs, injury, and progress. His approach gave me the confidence to gradually rebuild my strength and get back to playing the sport I love.It has been an amazing experience, and I would highly recommend Carlo to anyone who wants to get back to playing their sport after an injury.

I couldn’t be happier with the service and results I received from Lexington Physio.I initially went to see Brendan with a back issue that had been giving me grief for quite some time. Within two weeks, he had me feeling around 95% and, for the first time in a while, my back was feeling great.Unfortunately, just when things were going well, I injured my knee playing pickleball! So I was back to see Brendan again. Once again, within two weeks I was back to around 95% and playing again. What really stood out to me was that Brendan genuinely listened to my concerns and took the time to understand what was actually causing the problem, rather than simply treating the symptoms. He worked with me to identify the areas that needed strengthening and developed exercises that were practical and actually made a noticeable difference.Every session felt like a consultative process. We would work through different movements, see how my body responded, and use that information to work out what needed attention. I always felt like I understood what we were working on and why.The results speak for themselves, but it was the combination of Brendan’s knowledge, attention to detail and willingness to really listen that made the experience so good.Couldn’t recommend Lexington Physio and Brendan highly enough. Five stars without hesitation!

My experience at Lexington Health was excellent. I came in for treatment for Tennis Elbow in both arms. Carlo was fantastic to work with. He clearly communicated the situation to me and created a treatment plan, which saw me improve much faster than I ever expected. I would happily recommend Carlo and Lexington Health to anyone.
